David “Tinker” Juarez
David “Tinker” Juarez has been in the cycling spotlight for almost three decades. This multi-talented athlete carries his passion for cycling into several disciplines including BMX, mountain bike endurance and road racing. Tinker is a three-time U.S. National Champion, a two-time U.S. Olympian, a Pan Am Games Gold Medalist, and the winner of three top ten places in the MTB World Championships, including a Silver Medal in 1994.
He was inducted into the Mountain Bike Hall of Fame in 2001 andreceived the Cannondale Icon Award in 2005. That same year, Tinkerbroke into the long distance road racing scene and qualified for the2006 RAAM race (Race Across America) by taking second place in theFurnace Creek 508 with a record breaking time. In 2006, he completedthe inaugural Enduro division of RAAM, finishing third place. Tinkerchooses Tifosi eyewear for both fashion and functionality.
